The bridge deck is a highlight of the yacht, and a sunny gathering place for meals, viewing the scenery, or just soaking up the sun in a lounge chair. There is access from the aft deck, as well as from inside the boat, opposite the galley. A hardtop gives shelter from the sun and elements, while the spacious after deck can be utilized for lounge chairs when the tender has been launched. The radar mast on the hardtop can be unbolted and is hinged to drop for low bridge/boat house clearance.
There is a U-shaped settee with table to starboard, opposite a large L-shaped module containing a refrigerator, sink, ample stowage, and twin electric grills. Forward of the lounge area, is a forward-facing bench seat to starboard, and helm with bench seating to port. The sightlines are unobstructed from the helm area.
The spacious cockpit is entered by transom doors, port & starboard, and has steps on either side as well, up to the Caliofnir deck. Boarding the yacht onto the large swim platform, with adjustable staple rails for security, it is remarkable to note the size of the cockpit, and its functionality for any one of a number of activities. Need to onload cases of supplies? Want to fish while cruising? perhaps diving or watersports pique your interest? Whatever you want to do, this cockpit can accommodate with room to spare. The sole and coverboards are teak, and there is an over-sized upholstered coaming for comfort while fighting a large catch.
Access to the engine room and crew quarters is amidship, forward, and the generator room and lazarette are accessed through the forward deck.
The decks on VAMOS A VER are teak on the main deck and in the cockpit, fiberglass on the bridge deck. The side decks and aft deck are covered, with raised bulwarks, and the foredeck has plenty of space for anchoring and lounging on the settee and deckhouse sunpads.
The focal point of the yacht, and the ideal spot for dinners or cocktails, is the California deck on the main deck level. With steps up from the cockpit port & starboard, access to the saloon, both side decks, and a sweeping stairway up to the flying bridge, the California deck is at the center of it all. A beautiful high-varnished teak table runs athwartship, with seating for up to 8 in 4 hi-back teak chairs and the upholstered built-in bench. To starboard is a fiberglass serving counter with a refrigerator below. To port is a locker with remote engine controls for operating the yacht from the stern. Lighting options and overhead stereo speakers, as well as close access to the galley and bar complete the ambiance and usability of the area.
The gorgeous main saloon is an ideal spot for entertaining or just settling in to a comfortable seat to watch the ocean go by. Of note is the open, airy design, with sight-lines all the way forward to the pilothouse, and large windows all around. Entering through large, stainless-framed glass doors, the area welcomes with a perfectly positioned and sized bar immediately to starboard, and a large, L-shaped leather settee to port. There are two occasional chairs and a small coffee table forward of the bar area, and a large, teak hi-lo table facing the settee. The bar is an entertainer\'s delight, and features dual-level granite countertops, glass-front liquor locker, icemaker, and sink. Opposite the bar to port, is a built-in cabinet with counter and locker stowage below, that separates the stairway down to the engineroom and crew\'s quarters from the salon.
The entertainment center is situated in the forward, starboard area of the saloon, and disappears behind beautifully finished wood cabinetry as found throughout the yacht. Continuing forward, it is one step up to the galley/dining area.
The beautiful galley on VAMOS A VER is conveniently located adjacent to the main saloon and the pilothouse, with the ladder to the flyingbridge just opposite of the galley, abaft the formal dining area. It features a dual-level counter, door to the port side deck for ease in loading groceries, and ample stowage. Did we mention great visibility? There is no galley-in-a-hole here, the chef has 180*+ visibility, great air and light, and close proximity to whatever is going on at the time.
To starboard is a free-standing teak dining table with 6 upholstered chairs. Outboard of the seating area are large windows (opening) and the weather door to the starboard deck. The teak sole and tasteful decor give the dining area an inviting option for those days or evenings when outside dining isn\'t in the cards.
The nerve center of the yacht is the functional and inviting Pilothouse. With all electronics neatly and functionally laid out, and great sight lines, this is a comfortable place to operate the yacht in any kind of weather. The electronics array spans the centerline, with all gauges and instruments easily reached. To port is a great area for hanging out and keeping the helmsman company whilst sitting at a raised U-shaped settee with high-gloss teak table, opening window, and comfortable upholstery. Centerline is the custom Stidd helm seat, and to starboard is the companionway down to the staterooms, and a weather door out to the starboard side deck. Immediately abaft the helm area, is the formal dining area, with a large high-gloss dining table, and six hi-back upholstered dining chairs. As on the port side, the large windows to starboard featuring an opening pane for increased fresh air ventilation. In this area, as well as the helm area, the sole is solid teak.
Worthy of the title \"master stateroom,\" the full-beam owner\'s suite aboard VAMOS A VER is truly a welcoming sanctuary of warmth, comfort, and luxury. Featuring a centerline King berth, the room is spacious and functional, with abundant natural lighting from the four large opening ports, port & starboard. The cabinetry is high-gloss wood, with voluminous stowage and plenty of floor space for getting around. To port is a built-in vanity and numerous (9) drawers, shelves, lockers, and large hanging lockers, both to port and to starboard. To starboard is a small divan, shelves, and side table, again with plenty of built-in stowage. Above the master berth is mirrored headboard, framed on either side by decorative back-lit glass panels and reading lights. Opposite the large berth is a bulkhead-mounted, large Samsung flatscreen TV and DVD player.
Outboard on either side of the berth are doors into his/hers heads, with a huge shower/tub combination separating the two. The heads are also well-proportioned, with tremendous stowage, elegant materials, and tasteful decor.
Master Head:
The elegant VIP stateroom is en suite, and located in the forepeak. Featuring a center-line queen berth, there is ample light and air from the four opening ports and large, overhead hatch. There is a significant amount of stowage for guests\' gear and belongings, as well as private access to the spacious head, TV, stereo, and reading lights.
The head features a stall shower and also a light and airy ambiance with marble flooring and counters, a generous use of mirrors, and high-polished wood cabinetry.
Head:
The spacious port stateroom features twin berths and a private head with stall shower. This tastefully designed sleeping area has large portlights which provide ample natural light, direct/indirect lighting, stereo, and TV, with two large single berths, a hanging locker and numerous drawers for stowage. The private head has marble flooring and counters, and a large stall shower with Grohe fixtures. The head also has an opening port for additional ventilation.
Guest head
The fourth guest stateroom is to starboard, off the companionway that services all four guest staterooms. There are upper and lower bunks, cabinetry housing the washer/dryer, opening ports, hanging locker, and drawer stowage.
The crew\'s quarters are accessed via the center-transom weather door, or down from the main salon via a carpeted stairwell on the port side. Moving forward in the crew space, is access to the engine room. Aft to starboard, is the private stateroom to starboard with double lower, single upper, night stand with drawers and hanging locker. There is drawer stowage under the lower bunk. The stateroom is finished in high-gloss Birdseye maple, and could be used as a fifth guest stateroom if needed.
The crew (day) head is a large, functional space to port, featuring a large molded shower with large glass doors. Marble flooring and countertops give a finish grade to the space that makes it suitable for guest use as well as crew.
The workspace/crew mess is immediately abaft the head, and features multiple lockers above and below the L-shaped counter with sink, cutting board, and refrigerator/freezer locker. Opposite the mess is an area outside the crew stateroom that offers countertops with stowage lockers above and below, and outboard are the main ship\'s electric distribution panels. The mess, companionway, steps up to the cockpit are all covered in blue linoleum for easy cleaning.
The lazarette is accessed through the cockpit sole, and provides a dedicated space for generators, watermakers, ships stores, and more.
VAMOS A VER can be considered to be one of the finest cockpit motoryachts of her size and vintage on the West Coast. A low hour boat, she has been well outfitted and maintained, and has gone through extensive upgrading in 2022/2023. A superb seakeeping yacht, she has recently returned from a successful winter cruising season in Mexico and the Sea of Cortez.

VAMOS A VER can be boarded through gates on the port or starboard decks, or more commonly across the broad molded swim platform, through one of the transom doors, and across the large and versatile cockpit. Rising up port and starboard from the cockpit are steps up to the California Deck. This area offers access to the side decks, stairway up to the flying bridge deck, and glass and stainless double sliders into the main saloon. Prominently featured on this deck is a large, high-gloss dining table with bench and hi-back chair seating, built-in end tables, and a cabinet with refrigerator.
Moving forward into the main saloon, immediately to starboard is an elegant wet bar with a stairway down to the engine room and crew\'s quarters opposite to port. The area is spacious, light, and airy. Continuing forward and up one step are the galley to port, dining area to starboard, and pilothouse/helm area forward.
From the pilothouse/helm level, are weather doors out to both side decks, and a stairway down to the guest accommodations.
On the accommodations level, coming down the stairwell and towards the bow are the guest stateroom to port and the VIP forward. Heading aft is the guest stateroom to starboard and lastly the large master stateroom, centerline.
Heading back up to the helm level, there is a stairway abaft the dining area that goes up to the massive flyingbridge area. This area features the helm to port, with bench seating port & starboard, followed by a large settee and table to starboard, opposite an entertaining area with double BBQ grills, sink, stowage, and refrigerator. Aft of the entertaining area is the stairway down to the California deck, and the athwartship-stowed tender.
The foredeck is reached from either side deck, and features a built-in bench seat, along with big sun pads atop the deckhouse.
