Brac is the third largest Croatian island, and the largest island in Dalmatia. It is known for its white stone used to construct the US Presidential White House and for Zlatni Rat, the long pebbly beach at Bol that sticks out lasciviously into the Adriatic and adorns 90% of Croatia’s tourism posters. Brac offers the ideal spot for snorkeling fans in the beautiful water around the bay of Lucice. It is also famous for some of the finest cheese and smoked ham in the Eastern Mediterranean.
