Rum, revolutionaries and retro cars – Cuba has a back-in-time appeal. The Cuba of today promises to be like nowhere else you’ve ever visited. Economically poor but culturally rich. Visibly mildewed, but architecturally magnificent. Bring along your sense of adventure for a charter like no other.
Cuba is a huge island, around 800 miles long by 80 miles wide. As the largest island in the Caribbean it is also the liveliest when it comes to a good party. Visit the famous El Cabaret Tropicana club and great live venue, Casa de la Trova to follow the rhythm of the Cubans whether it be in salsa, jazz, rumba, mambo and Latin. Most of the big clubs can be found in the tourist resorts, but it’s worth venturing on to smaller beaches to enjoy Cuban rum and cigars at one of the many local bars where the scene heats up after the sun sets. Head round to the Gulf of Batabano, where the cays are stunning and waters are turquoise and unspoiled.
