Dive Master - PADI

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Dive Master certification is often considered to be a very useful extra on your CV for yachts that are equipped for the wonderful activity of scuba diving. An enriching, challenging, and fun learning experience, this course fast-tracks your diving skills, knowledge, and ability to act as a teaching assistant. Much of the preparation is done via the excellent eLearning in advance of your course. You will be taught by a highly experienced English-speaking PADI Course Director (Instructor Trainer) based in Antibes, who will provide ongoing coaching and support to enable you to get as much as possible out of the course.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

• Developing professional-level skill demonstrations
• Completing the testing "stamina" module
• Learning how to assist in teaching students
• Mastering professional-level dive theory
• Workshops on running Divemaster-led PADI courses and programs
• Ten days of teaching
• Any necessary equipment hire
• Advice on equipment purchase
• Online video conference face-to-face to explain preparation and provide an induction presentation

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

• Accommodation in the Antibes/Golfe Juan area for the duration of the course
• Meals
• It is possible and highly recommended to add the Nitrox, Deep, and Navigation Specialties as a bolt-on package. Please ask for further details if interested.

ASSESSMENT

• Continuous assessment
• Multiple-choice written exam on dive theory and training standards

DURATION

The complete course lasts 10 days.
