I’m Jessica Duarte, I was born in Brazil. I’ve been living in South Florida for a while and went to Florida Atlantic University.
After university I got a marketing job, it was a remote position which meant I could work from anywhere, so I decided to travel round the USA for a few years which was amazing.
I loved my marketing role, but I always knew there was maybe something else out there for me…
Living in Fort Lauderdale brought me close to the yachting industry.
I’m thrilled to be a part of Bluewater, and excited to be working in a job where I can help crew and yachts on a daily basis, understanding their needs and helping to find their perfect team member.
I’m hoping to help as many crew as I can find great jobs, and build their careers!
I am skilled at reading people and will use this to help match crew to their dream job.
I’m looking forward to helping Bluewater achieve even more than it already has, for crew to recognize that we are the best training and recruitment company.
I am at the Bluewater Fort Lauderdale office every Tuesday and Wednesday.

After I finished my studies in the UK at university, I spent many years travelling and lived in Australia for some time before arriving to France in 2004. A 2-day mini-break in Antibes turned into an 18 year stint at Bluewater and I haven’t looked back since!
I have seen many changes in the industry during my time, and this is what I love about yachting, that it’s constantly evolving.
Out of work I’m kept very busy with my 2 young children; I love going on hikes, bike rides, beach days and exploring the Var where we live.

Born in Paris, I spent most of my youth in the Pyrenees, then after university I moved to Vancouver for 3 years.
On returning to France I became a travel agent specialising in seaman’s fares for crew, and then I worked for Sunseeker.
Working with different cultures and gaining experience in the yachting industry gave me the right skills for becoming a recruitment specialist.
I’ve been at Bluewater for 6 years now.
I love my job, meeting crew and helping them to achieve their career aspirations.

I am no stranger to yachting, having grown-up on a sailing boat in Mallorca, I then got my first job in the industry at 20, and worked my way up to chief stewardess on a colourful mix of vessels of all shapes and sizes.
I joined bluewater over 13 years ago on a temporary basis and I’ve never looked back.
I really enjoy my job, meeting new people every day but also catching up with crew that have become friends over the years.
I’ve had the privilege of visiting some amazing places in the world, and have sailed around the Caribbean and Brazil.

Born in Australia, I was fortunate to grow up in Greece only returning to Sydney in my teens. After university, I moved to Toulouse, France where I taught English to aeronautical engineers. I then relocated to Mallorca in 2008 for a summer job, however I quickly fell in love with the island, my new friends and the lifestyle… and so I never left!
I joined Bluewater almost 10 years ago and focus on recruitment for deck roles all over the world. I love speaking to crew on a daily basis, meeting with them, helping them with their careers and supporting all the yachts with their recruitment needs.

Natalie Hedley-Ford heads up our ONE Account team: I was born and raised in the Home Counties on the outskirts of London. I relocated to the sunny Cote d’Azur 18 years ago, where I continued my career as a travel agent & concierge. Having worked at Bluewater now for 11 years, I feel privileged to look after our One Account customers, as I’m really proud to be part of such an innovative product.
