We are ecstatic to hear all of the positive feedback on the quay about our crew events that took place last Friday. We want to thank each and every one of you who attended, sponsored and supported us!
With well over 1000 crew members in attendance over the day at both the Chef Competition & Full(ish) Moon Party, we had a fantastic time catching up with everyone to let off some steam before everyone takes off for the season.
Winner Yusef Scarr
To start the day off we had 12 amazing yacht Chefs going head to head for our annual Chef Competition, offered in partnership with Gourmet Deliveries and held at Secrets De Cuisine – a culinary training school in Antibes.
Chefs are given a ‘mystery bag’, courtesy of Gourmet Deliveries to create either, a 1, 2 or 3 course delight depending on the round…
This year, it was no easy task - the bags contained a range of surprises from kangaroo to brussel sprouts, jerusalem artichoke and persimmon. Competition was extremely tough but the top four Chefs to shine in 2015 are:
4th place Eva Krajcikova
3rd place Mike Wallis
2nd place Deon Vermeuken
1st Place Yusuf Scarr
Well done to everyone that entered… What a delight to watch!

Well done to everyone that entered… What a delight to watch!
Running alongside, we had the fantastic team from Roni Fleurs hosting workshops for interior crew; creating ‘glow in the dark’ floral designs for the Full(ish) Moon Party in the evening. The end results blew our minds!
Mitton International Wines were also on hand to run a blind wine testing of delightful NZ & Australian wine.
As the week came to a close, the doors to our Full(ish) Moon Party opened at the Royal Beach. We want to thank the whole team at the Royal Beach who went (as usual), out of their way to make the event unforgettable.
We ❤ the team at the Royal!
What a fantastic evening, we were blown away (quite literally also by the wind), with one of the most fantastic storms, complete with wind and waves to create a magical atmosphere to dance the night away. Colgans Brewery kicked off the soiree with an open bar then all of the fun fell into place with; zorbs, flash box, space hopper races, giant twister, face painting, dancers from Pole Dance Antibes and last but not least, Tim Davis- the best DJ in town.
We had an amazing night thanks to everyone who was a part of it! Keep an eye out for our next gathering! We love a bluewater party…
** We have postponed our lucky square draw and will be running this tombola on the 27th of May… Squares are still available in our crew & training office.**
