Any foodie worth their truffle salt will want to come along to the Bluewater 2024 Superyacht Chef Competition on the 4th of April, proudly hosted in partnership with Yacht Club de Monaco and La Belle Classe Academy.
Held at the glamorous Monaco Yacht Club but also available to watch online from your galley or crew mess, this prestigious RSVP-only event will bring nine superyacht chefs toe-to-toe as they battle for the title of World’s Best Superyacht Chef under the critical eye of a gold-class jury made up of Michelin-starred chefs and culinary celebrities.
The title of 2024 Superyacht Chef Champion is surely prestigious enough.
But what lends this event its extra sparkle is the guest judges and presenters.
With the Superyacht Chef competition presided over by the esteemed chef Joël Garault, President of Goûts et Saveurs, the judging panel dazzles under its President of the Jury Chef Glenn Viel, the three-starred chef of Oustau de Baumière and Top Chef fame.
The extraordinary jury lineup also includes last year’s winner, Chef Marco Tognon of M/Y Planet Nine; Chef Julien Roucheteau, the 2-star Michelin chef and winner of the Challenge Culinaire du Président de la République and the Zepter prize; Coyo’s Chef Victoria Vallenilla of Objectif Top Chef fame; Chef Frédéric Ramos, renowned French Riviera chef and head of the Novotel Monte Carlo restaurant, and acclaimed yacht chef Danny Davies.
Former yacht chef and Ocean Wave Monaco trainer Duncan Biggs will be presiding as the ‘anti-waste judge’, assessing the competitor’s usage of produce.

Watch your own elite version of Masterchef as the chefs are given mystery boxes filled with exclusive and exotic ingredients provided by Gourmet Deliveries, Metro and U Luvassu.
The audience will then get to choose one more secret ingredient to add to the mix.
The timer will be set for only 40 minutes as the yacht chefs get to work in the kitchens built by ATH, MCP and Burto’s.
The competition will run in three rounds of three chefs before the three finalists face off in the grand final after lunch.
Followed by a champagne-spraying awards ceremony involving trophies, luxury gifts from top brands including our gold sponsor Impossible Drinks our long-term supporter Bonemasters with their beautiful copper pots, and the sought-after Superyacht Chef prize apron from Yacht Chandlers Interior.
