We are hosting an exclusive event for all crew on the SV route, or those interested in a career as a yacht engineer. 
Join us for this free session with the MCA on 28th February.

The voices behind it all

This interactive session will be delivered with the MCA Engineering Examiner, Phillip Lebbon, along with Tim Moss who helped to create the SV route. 

We will discuss and debate the SV engineer career pathway, look at the future of engineer training and answer your all-important questions.

John Wyborn, Bluewater’s Director of Training, will be hosting the workshop and will be joined by our Engineer Scholarship graduate, Matthew Nuttall-Smith.

Matthew will recount his own journey on the SV route, offering advice and motivation to those following the pathway.

Format of the event

For those joining us in Cannes, we will welcome you from 08h45 for coffee and pastries.

09h00 - the session will start and we will make the zoom link live.

John Wyborn and Matthew Nuttall-Smith will open the event and discuss the state of yachting and Matthew’s experience on the SV route.
Phillip Lebbon and Tim Moss will join the panel as we spend the first session discussing and debating the SV route and hearing from the MCA on any updates.

10h30 - A short refreshment break.
10h45 - Start with the second session and we’ll take questions from the audience and those joining us on zoom.

We expect to conclude the event by 12pm.
