Chief Stews and Pursers enjoyed an Afternoon Tea and exclusive Interior Workshops with the experts from Bluewater, Zeidel & Aqualuxe on February 7th, 2020.
The afternoon began at Zeidel & Co. where we viewed the latest in fashionable interior uniforms. Then we were off to the Cafe des Beaux-Arts of Whitehall, the historic Henry Flagler Museum for a Gilded Age Afternoon Tea Party, with a lesson on proper Tea Service led by Bluewater’s own Theresa Manwaring. (By the way, did you know that our Interior Onboard Training Courses are now covered by our famous One Account in the US? Following the Tea Party, we learned all about the famous Henry Flagler with a Docent-guided tour of the museum, then made our way over to the area’s most beautiful luxury furniture gallery for a quick lesson on the care and cleaning of fine upholstery, linens, and carpets.
At sunset, we enjoyed Champagne and Charcuterie Boards on the Rooftop. Here we also drew the winners of a raffle for exclusive prizes. Monique Steyn won the grand prize, a beautiful crystal Christofle decanter, compliments of Aqualuxe Outfitting. Other lucky winners were Karen Newberry, Daniela Marinova and Lauren Cohen.
