Cannes Yachting Festival 2016

The 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from Tuesday 6th - Sunday 11th September, with new yachts in the Vieux Port and pre-owned yachts in Port Pierre Canto, on either side of the world-famous Croisette, with its palm trees, luxury hotels and international film festival. Nearly 600 yachts are on display on land and in water, including world premieres from shipyards around the world. In the Vieux Port, several shipyards even offer trips out to sea to allow prospective buyers the opportunity to experience these luxury vessels before purchasing.

As well as a fine range of superyachts on display, from 25m to 55m, the Vieux Port also offers a fantastic selection of other vessels to suit every taste, such as tenders, RIBS, catamarans, sport fishing boats, and even the latest water toys to enjoy on your next superyacht charter. The world-renowned Palais des Festivals also plays host to naval architects, interior designers and other representatives of the nautical service industry.

A notable addition to this year’s boat show is ‘La Terrasse’, an area in the Vieux Port exclusively dedicated to luxury products, such as private aviation, watches, property and couture.

A highlight of the 2016 show will be the celebrations of 10 years in Port Pierre Canto, where a stunning selection of second-hand sailing and motor yachts are on display, ranging from 22m to 50m. Port Canto can be accessed by road or by sea, by taking a ten-minute shuttle from the Vieux Port that will give you beautiful views of the bay of Cannes.

Bluewater will be presenting three very different yachts in Port Canto, with the sleek 2013 Sunseeker CARTE BLANCHE, the expedition yacht built by Fifth Ocean Yachts in 2014 DESTINY and the King Marine sailing yacht designed by Bill Dixon, LA LUNA.
