yachts available for charter.
Cruise into the Great Gatsby era with a classic yacht
For those with a streak of romance in their soul, a classic yacht charter offers the grandeur of yesteryear, harking back to a time when the superyacht industry was just beginning, and celebrities and royals were first discovering the allure of yachting on the glittering
French Riviera. There is a sense of history and timeless glamour to classic yachts that cannot be matched.
Bluewater have a range of classic yachts available for charter around the world, from graceful classic sailing yachts, to decadent gentleman’s motoryachts. However, there’s another category of classic yacht, one which offers a superb classic yacht experience with all the modern superyacht luxuries: the modern classic.
The 90m, award-winning M/Y NERO is a superb example of the modern classic yacht. Inspired by the ‘Corsair’ series of yachts owned by JP Morgan in the early 20th century, NERO was built in 2008, embodying the classic elegance of the jazz age yet with all the comforts and toys of a modern superyacht. Upon launch, she won the 2009 ShowBoats award for ‘Best Motoryacht Over 75m’, and immediately became one of the most iconic yachts on the charter market.
Accommodating up to 12 guests in six splendid staterooms, special features of NERO include a magnificent duplex owners’ apartment with private lounge and dining saloon and an observation deck/cinema. Out on deck, there’s a stunning foredeck swimming pool, a sundeck Jacuzzi, and a large beach platform perfect for swimming or launching off on the yacht’s incredible array of watertoys. M/Y NERO
is available for charter in the Caribbean during winter, and during summer in the Mediterranean, from €475,000 a week.
