On the 18th of September, Bluewater will hold a coastal cleanup as part of the International Coastal Cleanup organised by Ocean Conservancy. Every year in September more than half a million people, worldwide, take part in the effort to remove rubbish from the beaches, oceans and waterways of the world. 2010 will mark the 25th annual cleanup and over 6000 sites, globally, will be worked on by volunteers.
We are looking for yacht crew willing to donate four hours of their lives to clean up a little of the Mediterranean coast. They will provide all the equipment and, for anyone staying to the bitter end, they will also provide beer to make it worth their while.
