Bluewater would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended the Antibes Lifeboat Christmas Carol Concert on Friday 4th December and helped raised funds for this important cause.
Between ticket sales, the Christmas market and your generous donations, we managed to raise a whopping 2,500 euros!!!
To start the evening off, there was a mini Christmas market up in the courtyard next to the Antibes Cathedral, with the participation of local businesses: Candelicious, the Antibes Lifeboat volunteers, Sonia Nolland of Stella & Dot jewellery, Azur Flowers, baked goods donated by the Antibes ‘Fit Mums’ and of course mulled wine and delicious sausage sandwiches by So-Sij, courtesy of bluewater.
Thank you to all of the local suppliers who took time out of their evening to come and raise money for such a great cause, as well as everyone at the Antibes Cathedral for their help!
At 8pm the doors of the cathedral opened and floods of people entered to see The Riviera International Singers group perform a magical Christmas carol service. The atmosphere was beautiful, very touching and got everyone in the Christmas spirit!
Every single cent goes to The Antibes Lifeboat, which relies entirely on voluntary contributions and has saved hundreds of lives this year.
For the past 5 years we have supported the Antibes Lifeboat with this annual concert and we are delighted with the results this year, having nearly doubled the donations received in 2014.
