Becki’s journey into the world of sailing commenced one sunny day in Brighton, a moment that would forever change the course of her life. Instantly captivated by the allure of the sea, Becki embarked on a mission to merge her newfound passion with her demanding role as an Operations Manager. Every spare minute was devoted to accumulating the sea miles required for her Yachtmaster certification. Her chosen path led her to the exhilarating realm of offshore racing, where she sailed on 40-foot yachts for the prestigious Royal Ocean Racing Club.
With several Atlantic crossings and over 25,000 miles of competitive racing experience, Becki reached a turning point. It was time for a new adventure, one that brought her to the heart of yachting in Antibes. Here, she immersed herself in the world of the sea, working by its shores, and connecting with kindred spirits who shared her unwavering dedication to the industry.
At Bluewater, within the lively maritime community, Becki found a home among like-minded individuals whose passion matched her own. It was a natural choice to join the Bluewater team, a group of professionals who share her commitment to the yachting world.
In 2022, Becki made a significant career change by transitioning to the Charter Management Department at Bluewater. Once again, her decision led to impressive results as she quickly progressed from a junior position to an experienced charter manager in her first season. Her responsibilities extended to overseeing some of the industry’s most prestigious yachts, including the 73-meter Lurssen CORAL OCEAN. In just two years, Becki earned the respect and appreciation of her colleagues, establishing herself as a highly regarded charter manager in the industry, all while remaining a dedicated member of the Bluewater team.
