M/Y SAMSARA takes her name from the Sanskrit word for “Wandering” or “World,” with the connotation of cyclical change. SAMSARA is a high endurance, long-range, expedition motor yacht that is RINA classified for operations in any ocean. She will cruise swiftly at 10 knots and safely deliver adventurers to remote regions of the earth with a 5000nm range.

Bunkering 10,000 gallons of fuel ensures that she has extended endurance to stay on station when she arrives at the end of the earth.

SAMSARA’s mission is to provide explorers, researchers, and the adventurous with top-shelf accommodations to destinations that are accessible to few. She is the platform for travelers to get to the path less traveled and mountains that are accessible only by water. Long before the hereto pandemic, SAMSARA was redefining the art of "social distancing."

Guests will arrive at Cabo San Lucas International Airport and be driven the short 90 miles north to La Paz. This area is home to some of the best beaches in the world with white sands and turquoise waters. The surrounding desert is nothing short of spectacular.

The ship’s extensive equipment arsenal includes a 5.5m Zodiac Pro, Kayaks (4), fishing gear to include 45’ outriggers on the mothership and Scotty downriggers for the tender, dive gear for 6, SUP, surfboard, wakeboards, Foil SUP, and four full suspension mountain bikes (2 electric Haibike’s, 2 Santa Cruz.) She has a massive 50 ft, full-width boat deck ideal for grilling, gathering, stargazing, practicing yoga, and sunning as well as essential to providing space for guests’ specialized gear. This huge working boat deck is serviced/supported by a 3000-pound Nautical Structures davit/crane allowing safe and rapid deployment of the ships/ clients expedition/research gear. She also comes fitted with a BAUER dive compressor for rapid refilling of the dive tanks. Deploying the shrimp and crab traps is always a fun way to end the day, or just sit back and watch the crew do it!

Designed to Lloyd’s class by legendary naval architect Jon Overing, no expense has been spared in building and maintaining this world-class explorer yacht. World-renowned Espinoza Yacht Design was responsible for matching her beautiful rugged exterior with a classic North American cherry wood interior. SAMSARA’s galley is country-styled and is favorable for time spent in unison, essential for moments of togetherness while enjoying good food.
