The Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) is an annual event set in the enchanting town of Nafplio, Greece. Nafplio, often described as one of Greece’s most enchanting towns, captivates visitors with its rich history, stunning architecture, and picturesque setting.
The event attracts a diverse group of industry professionals, including yacht owners, brokers, and central agents. This creates a fertile ground for networking, allowing us to build relationships with influential figures in the yachting community.
Walking through the show and seeing the pinnacle of yacht design and luxury is incredibly inspiring. MEDYS allows brokers not only to connect with the yachting community but also to meet the crews of yachts generally based in the Ionian and Aegean Seas, compared to the Western Mediterranean-based yachts.
Meeting the crew is crucial, as it helps us gauge what the client would experience while chartering that yacht. After the yacht itself, the crew is the second most important element in creating a memorable charter experience for any client. All the crews were so hospitable and pleased to have us brokers visit them onboard each yacht.
